What this website collects.
A plain-language description of the information this Subfield website handles today, why, and where it goes.

In short.
This is an informational website for products that are not yet released. It has no customer accounts, no payments and no newsletter. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and Subfield does not set cookies on it.
The only information you give the website yourself is what you type into the contact form or the installer interest form, and those forms are only sent anywhere when online sending is switched on, as explained below.
Separately, like any website, every visit shares basic technical details, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, with the services that deliver the pages. Those services are listed under “Other services your browser contacts.”
What the contact form collects.
The contact form asks for:
- Your name and email address.
- Your organization, if you choose to give one.
- Whether you are a homeowner, an installer or maintainer, or an authorized official, and the topic of your question.
- The catalog items you selected for your inquiry, if any.
- Your message. Please do not include passwords, access codes or sensitive site records.
The installer interest form, for septic installers and maintainers, asks for your name, email address and company, a phone number if you choose to give one, the states you work in, your trade or licence type as you describe it, the Subfield products you are interested in and your message. Subfield does not check licences through this form.
How an inquiry is handled.
Online sending is switched on only after Subfield configures it, and one switch covers both forms. Until then, the contact page says that online inquiries are not available and the installer interest page says that online submissions are not live yet. You can download or copy what you typed for your own records, and nothing you type is sent to Subfield.
When online sending is switched on, the page says so before you send. Your inquiry goes to this website’s server, which checks it with Cloudflare Turnstile spam protection. It is then emailed through the email service Resend to a single Subfield inbox, with your email address set as the reply-to address so Subfield can reply to your inquiry.
The website does not save inquiry contents in a database, and its code does not write them to application logs. Resend and the receiving mailbox process and keep the email under their own practices.
What is kept in your browser.
Two small settings are saved in your browser’s local storage. The website uses them only in your browser, and they are not sent anywhere on their own:
- Your light or dark theme choice.
- The identifiers of catalog items you added to an inquiry. These are product codes, not personal information. When you open the contact page from the catalog, they are added to the page address and listed on the form. They are included in an inquiry only if you send it, and you can remove any of them before sending. When online sending is not available, they appear only in the brief you download or copy.
Whatever you type into the contact form or the installer interest form is held only on the open page. It is cleared when you leave or reload, unless you download or copy it yourself. You can clear the saved settings at any time through your browser’s site-data controls.
Other services your browser contacts.
Loading any website shares basic technical details, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, with the services that deliver it. This website involves:
- Vercel, which hosts the website. Its servers process these request details to deliver pages and protect the service, and it may keep request logs under its own policies.
- Unsplash, whose image servers deliver the landscape photographs. Every page also opens an early connection to that image server so photographs load quickly.
- Cloudflare, only on the contact and installer interest pages and only when online sending is switched on, for the Turnstile spam check.
Log in and the demo dashboard.
Customer and professional accounts are not available yet. The log in page does not ask for or collect passwords. The demonstration dashboard shows synthetic example data, not information about a real property or person.
Questions and deletion requests.
If you sent an inquiry and want to ask what Subfield received, or want it deleted, send a request through the contact page and say so. If online sending was not available when you used the form, nothing you typed reached Subfield.
The contact page is currently the only way to reach Subfield through this website, and it can send a request only while online sending is switched on. If the page says online inquiries are not available, your request cannot reach Subfield that way. A dedicated privacy contact that does not depend on the contact form will be published on this page before launch.
