For engineers and system designers.
A modular wastewater-treatment retrofit being developed for suitable existing septic tanks. Original Subfield assemblies, clear connections and service access—without another wastewater vessel in the base design.
Product pages describe development targets, not released ratings. Compatibility with a specific tank, treatment performance, certifications and approvals still require engineering, testing and release.
The treatment process.
- The treatment path
Preserve primary settling · Bring biology and air together · Protect the outlet · Check the actual result · Respect the existing site design
- Biological treatment
Capacity, energy use, cold-weather behavior and effluent results require complete-configuration testing. A 600-gallon/day development duty is not a rating.
- Check the actual result
Accessible sampling and configuration-specific testing establish effluent performance. Equipment status or clear-looking water is not a substitute for laboratory evidence.
Design boundaries.
- The receiving tank
A damaged, undersized or inaccessible tank may not qualify. Additional vessels are not silently added to the base retrofit.
- Local operation
Loss of internet is not loss of power. A cut power/data trunk does not leave imaginary tank power or surviving measurements.
- Installation detail
Electrical ratings, environmental qualification and independent protection remain release gates. No generic hot-plug or wet-mate claim is made.
- The downstream system
No guaranteed drainfield restoration, universal soil compatibility, potable-water output or unrestricted reuse is claimed.
Earlier research.
- Design research archive
Research archive—not the current retrofit’s manufacturing specification. None of these studies establishes fit, capacity, dimensions or approval.

- Treatment ratings and test data
- Not published yet. A rating requires testing of the complete configuration at defined wastewater loads and operating conditions.
