The retrofit / Installation planning

Start with your tank.
Leave nothing to guesswork.

The intended installation begins with eligibility and ends with an understandable, serviceable system. No-entry access and clear connections are design requirements—not permission to skip site review.

Development preview. Host-tank compatibility, treatment capacity, approvals, pricing and service intervals are not yet released.

This is a planning guide, not field installation instructions. Qualified products, released procedures and applicable approvals are required before physical work.

The receiving structure

A good retrofit starts
with a suitable tank.

The survey checks actual structure, watertightness, compartments, pipe elevations, usable treatment and solids-storage volume, access, mounting, ventilation and downstream disposal.

Concrete

Host family under evaluation. Material alone does not establish eligibility.

Polyethylene

Host family under evaluation. Material alone does not establish eligibility.

Fiberglass / FRP

Host family under evaluation. Material alone does not establish eligibility.

The outcome is eligible as surveyed, eligible after specifically reviewed corrections, or not compatible. Unknown critical information stays unresolved; an additional wastewater pod is not hidden in the base offer.

From review to ownership

Six stages.
One clear handoff.

  1. 01Eligibility before equipmentSurvey the existing installation

Gather the permit and system history, then have the receiving tank and field assessed by the appropriate professional.

    • Record actual condition, geometry, working volumes and access.
    • Identify structural, hydraulic and downstream limitations.
    • Missing critical information means further review—not assumed compatibility.
  2. 02One documented kitDefine the reviewed configuration

Select only a released host-tank adapter and treatment arrangement that meets the application and jurisdiction requirements.

    • Document treatment and disposal objectives.
    • Include required utilities, field work and service obligations.
    • Obtain applicable design and permit approval before physical changes.
  3. 03A planned professional visitPrepare safe access

Arrange isolation, professional pump-out and inspection as required by the approved installation procedure.

    • Preserve tank integrity and normal pump-out access.
    • Do not rely on personnel entry or unqualified lid-mounted loads.
    • No structural cuts or new penetrations are authorized by this planning guide.
  4. 04From above, by designFit the retrofit assemblies

The installation objective is independently handled modules through qualified riser openings, with the correct adapters and defined service clearances.

    • Install the reviewed mounting, treatment and clarification arrangement.
    • Connect specified air, hydraulic and electrically keyed interfaces.
    • Use exact revision-matched instructions, not a universal field recipe.
  5. 05Measure, do not assumeCommission and establish treatment

Document hydraulic, air, alarm and operating checks. Mechanical completion is separate from biological startup and any required performance sampling.

    • Verify installed equipment identities and approved settings.
    • Record actual tests, failures, corrections and sample obligations.
    • A completed checklist does not replace required inspection or laboratory results.
  6. 06Ownership starts informedHand over a serviceable system

Provide the owner with clear status guidance, service contacts, required care and the installation record.

    • Assign the approved maintainer and inspection schedule.
    • Keep essential instructions and local operation available offline.
    • Preserve configuration and service history when ownership or components change.

Prepare a useful brief

Start with
what you know.

Do not open or enter a tank to complete this list. Bring available records and have measurements or inspections performed safely by the appropriate professional.

Prepare a retrofit brief
  • Existing permit, as-built drawings and available tank manufacturer/model information.
  • Tank material, approximate age, service history and known structural or leakage concerns.
  • Available professional measurements of compartments, usable volume, risers and inlet/outlet elevations.
  • Household use, existing design flow and any unusual wastewater sources.
  • Current disposal arrangement: gravity, chambers, dosing, mound or drip, including known problems.
  • Safe access, existing utilities and the installation/service provider involved.

The years after installation

Service is part
of the product.

Our goal is independently retrievable equipment, accessible wear interfaces and clear records. The eventual care plan must include normal pumping, required inspections, purchased-pump obligations and actual hardware service evidence.

Mechanical installation and biological readiness are separate milestones. A three-to-five-year hardware service goal is not an approved inspection interval or a promise of unattended treatment.

Before you begin

A clear starting point.

Understand the product direction, its limits and what must be proven before an installation.

Does it fit every septic tank?

No. The objective is broad coverage through a qualified range of host tanks and adapters. Condition, geometry, access, usable treatment and solids-storage volume, ventilation and the downstream field must all be reviewed.

Does the base design need another buried tank?

No additional wastewater tank or pod is part of the base retrofit concept. Suitable dry equipment housing and existing approved dosing infrastructure may still be needed. A site that cannot meet the configuration requirements may not qualify.

Is this just a filter?

No. The proposed core is an aerobic biological process supported by fixed media, with controlled circulation and protected solids separation. Required coarse protection or field filtration performs a different job.

Is it rated for 600 gallons a day?

Not yet. Approximately 600 US gallons per day is an initial development duty. A rating requires testing of the complete configuration at defined wastewater loads and operating conditions.

Will it be maintenance-free?

No. The goal is to reduce avoidable intervention and develop hardware servicing around normal pump-out where evidence and approval permit. Pumping, required inspections, wear components and purchased-pump care remain; a three-to-five-year interval is not established.

Do you manufacture the pumps?

No. Pumps are the explicit purchased exception to our original-assembly manufacturing plan. The air-pump or blower production arrangement remains under evaluation.

Can I order or install it today?

Not yet. This is a development preview. Released configurations, qualified instructions, local approval, commercial terms and availability must be established first. An inquiry is not a purchase, reservation or compatibility decision.

Does it still work without internet?

Essential treatment and required local alarms are being designed not to depend on cloud access or a subscription. A power outage is different and must follow the qualified, finite-reserve failure plan.

Start with the installation you have

One system.
A clearer way forward.

Bring the records and questions you already have. A project brief starts the conversation; it does not approve a tank or reserve equipment.
