Who it’s for / Installers & maintainers
For installers and maintainers.
The intended installation begins with eligibility and ends with an understandable, serviceable system. No-entry access and clear connections are design requirements—not permission to skip site review.
This is a planning guide, not field installation instructions. Qualified products, released procedures and applicable approvals are required before physical work.
Plan the installation.
- Tank eligibility
The outcome is eligible as surveyed, eligible after specifically reviewed corrections, or not compatible.
- The six stages
Survey the existing installation · Define the reviewed configuration · Prepare safe access · Fit the retrofit assemblies · Commission and establish treatment · Hand over a serviceable system
- The receiving tank
Concrete, polyethylene and fiberglass tanks vary in geometry, condition and access. We are developing a finite range of adapters and qualified configurations, not a single insert assumed to fit every tank.
- The downstream system
Gravity, chamber, pressure-dosed, mound and drip arrangements have different requirements. The receiving tank and downstream system must both fit the reviewed configuration.
Connections, parts and service.
- Installation detail
Factory-built harnesses, organized air lines and keyed interfaces are intended to reduce field terminations and connection mistakes. Visual consistency never makes incompatible functions interchangeable.
- Long-term access
Service is designed around retrieving the required module through a qualified access opening, without entering the tank or dismantling unrelated equipment.
- Retrofit system compatibility
Review tank integrity, usable volumes, baffles, access, ventilation and the approved disposal system together. Nominal tank gallons do not establish treatment capacity.
- Parts inside the system
Correct selection includes the surveyed host tank, installed role, hardware revision, electrical or hydraulic interface and required commissioning. Catalog entries are not a verified bundle.
- Cables & connections
Subfield harnesses and keyed assemblies make identification easier while keeping incompatible electrical functions physically separate.
- Tank & service
Host-specific mounts, access adapters, service carriers and retrieval interfaces—not a manufactured tank shell.
Register your interest.
- Register interest as an installer or maintainer
Septic installers and maintainers can tell Subfield where they work, what they do and which products they are interested in.
Planned software.
- Installer and maintainer access
Survey the tank, identify the right configuration and work through clear, offline-capable commissioning records. Follow fault evidence, identify installed parts and record service and repair verification.
