Core Rear Mount R7.
Geometry, analysis and remaining engineering work for Core Rear Mount R7.
Retained development study. Dimensions, names and checks belong to this revision—not automatically to the retrofit-only product. Manufactured tank shells are deferred. No installation instruction, certification or manufacturing release is represented.

The source reasoning
Why this detail was investigated.
Controlled 81-part concept assembly with four keyhole shoulder studs and a captive external locking screw. The carrier stays at the wall during the nominal release sequence: screw outward7 mm, housing upward12 mm, then outward25 mm. Actual wall anchors are not selected or modeled.

the study.
Source-linked work for this revision. Reported checks describe the stated model or test; physical qualification and applicability to the current retrofit remain separate.

The focused contract test passed in74.86 seconds. The export passes1,132 nominal fit/export checks and1,188 release/engagement/capture checks. Blind material remains at the stud and lock receivers, and the ideal power compartment remains separated. A standalone source copy in a separate locked dependency environment reproduced all81 STEP bodies with zero Boolean symmetric difference. Full CAD regression for this snapshot passed: 332 tests in 1520.22 seconds. This covers R7, not the later R8 clearance revision.
Screw threads are nominal envelopes, not helical geometry. Threaded anti-lift action, clip elasticity, loads, substrate/anchor capacity, material, torque, anti-loosening, carrier bends/joints, manufacturing tolerances, weathering and real hand access remain unqualified. The enclosure's electrical components, wiring, thermal design and physical qualification are also unfinished. This package is not fabrication-ready.
Rendering/drawing orchestration scripts retain workspace-relative provenance; the native Blend and PDF are directly reviewable. Virtual environments and bytecode caches are excluded from deliverables.
