Controls / Design study / CORE-PANEL-MECHANICS-R2
Designed to open.
Seal groove, captive closure and a pinned cover for the exterior Core enclosure.
Retained development study. Dimensions, names and checks belong to this revision—not automatically to the retrofit-only product. Manufactured tank shells are deferred. No installation instruction, certification or manufacturing release is represented.

The source reasoning
Why this detail was investigated.
Separate closure parts make the service arrangement inspectable. Physical sealing, clamp force and electrical packaging still require qualification.

The detail behind
the study.
Source-linked work for this revision. Reported checks describe the stated model or test; physical qualification and applicability to the current retrofit remain separate.
The current exterior Core adds a defined seal groove, captive screw closure and pinned cover. Graphite surfaces and restrained orange markings carry the Subfield family identity.
Concept — not released for manufacture. Material, clamp force, physical sealing, electrical packaging and production tolerances remain open. Pending evidence below is not a passing result.

Engineering scope and remaining work
The assembly has thirty separate solids, a continuous seal groove and hard-stop land, two captive commercial screw envelopes, custom pinned hinges and an opening stop. Closed, screw-released, 45° and 110° service poses use the same authoritative CAD. Individual parts retain their closed-assembly coordinates. Presentation axes are [construction X, -construction Z, construction Y + 300], in millimetres.
**CONCEPT. Not released for manufacture.** This is mechanical development and geometric evidence. Functional electronics, internal attachments, production material/process/tolerances, electrical protection, achieved seal compression, physical ingress, strength, wear and service qualification remain open.
